Pastor Michael Chiavone was called by the church assembled on October 26th, 2025. He had previously served as a youth director and pastor in Southern Baptist churches. He seeks to lead the flock at Mission Ridge to maturity through clear, consistent teaching of the Bible and its eternal truths.

Prior to being called by Mission Ridge, he taught with Cedarville University, Tennessee Temple University, Temple Baptist Seminary, Liberty University Seminary, and Liberty University School of Divinity. He holds a B.A. in Bible, an M.Div. with Counseling and Biblical Languages, and a Ph.D. in Theological Studies. He is the author of several books available on Amazon.com.
